The Spirit and the Bride Say Come

THE SPIRIT AND THE BRIDE SAY,
"COME, LORD JESUS”.

I started this painting from the bottom. I have never started one from the bottom. I wasn’t even sure what to paint, so I just started with a soft brown. It looked like a beach so I added water and a few waves. Psalmist, Dennis See began to sing, “Come on out a little bit deeper” and then the sweeping clouds were added as “The Breath of God”. The gold in the upper left corner is “Let Your Glory Fall”. As I formed a rain cloud on the horizon, I saw a different shape begin to emerge, The Bride of Christ reaching longingly to the Bridegroom. The Bride’s hair is a mingling of all the various skin colors. The bride is carried to her beloved on the wings of the Holy Spirit.
I know why the Bride would say, “Come quickly, Lord Jesus”. But why would the Holy Spirit join the Bride in that plea? Because, He is stuck here on the earth until Jesus returns.
